I would not have a diesel right now as price for diesel fuel is more expensive than regular unleaded

Yes, two; two Diesel engined cars. Newest is 2010 VW Golf. Try the new VW Diesels! You won't know you are driving a Diesel-engined car. They are not noisy, not smelly, they ARE 30% more efficient than a gasoline engine, therefore mush better fuel mileage. The down side is that where diesel fuel was traditionally less costly than gasoline, it is now more expensive. Not sure of the reason. Diesel fuel is virtually identical to #2 fuel oil, which is dyed to distinguish it from diesel fuel. A barrel of crude will yield more diesel fuel than gasoline when refined. Higher taxes? A need to refine more home heating oil than diesel? I don't know.

I just love my 2010 Jetta, Sportwaggen, TDI. Best car I ever owned. It has everything going for it. You regular fuel types, Here in Oregon fuel is 10% ethanol. Sheesh, the Govt. in USA just is allowing for up to 15% ethanol. Buying gasoline blended with Ethanol is kinda like buying Light Beer. You get less beer and more water. With Diesel fuel, there isnt the milage robbing ethanol.
