Was already about as frugal as could be.... Recession has had no impact at all - my salary and cost of living are still the same...

I'm getting sick of these stagnant oil prices. I am looking forward to them dropping to pre-Bush levels and perhaps getting an electric car in a couple years.
Stop drilling everywhere. Our lives depend upon it to be stopped.

I've found the best way to save gas is to not drive. As a result I've been doing a lot more important things and getting more excercise instead of wasting my time driving around. All errands are done in one 3 hour slot the same time every week when not much traffic is on the road. Been keeping it down to one fill up a month. I need a 100mile per gallon car.

Amplion,
You must be advocating higher use and higher prices. Are you not aware that many North American drilling projects are abandoned because below $70 per barrel, they are guaranteed losers!

It's a toss up. Things are tighter now, but gas is half what it used to be.
